I was looking at asus web site on the a7n8x-x board because i just bought one. Doesn't mention anything about dual ddr support. So i called asus and asked them. They told me the a7n8x-x DOES support dual ddr as long as the slots are seperated i.e. dimm slots 1 and 2 are together the 3rd is detached. So anyway, i assume its okay then.

But at any rate, i guess if it doesn't do dual ddr, its still a nice upgrade from my msi ktv3 333 mhz board. I also bought two sticks of 256meg pc3200 samsung DDR memory

With this upgrade it get:

8x AGP support
400mhz RAM support
Better overall board
Ultra133 IDE
Better sound
ect.

Thanks!

a7n8x-x is actually single channel.. the a7n8x and the a7n8x deluxe are both dual =d

dual channel dont give much performance increase.. but umm the a7n8x-x is about 30 dollars cheaper than the a7n8x so its not a bad investment
