I just received my 1.2 tbrid that is supposed to be a 266 fsb (OEM). The little sivers plate on the chip says 1200 but does not give any indication that it has a speed of 266. Also, and even more distrubing, is the fact the the little silver plate says "1999"!! Isn't this 2001?? What gives and how can I tell?

My guess is that's when they copyighted the name or architecture.
