hi sorry to hear that :(

it might be that it does not like it simple as that .........me and my mate bought our 2400+s at the same time mine does 2400mhz.......and his will not go past 2300mhz ......and thats on the same boards and memory ! ..........but any how

what fsb ?
what multi?
what board do you have ?
what vcore ? have you increased this
is youre heatsink on ok ? are youre temps ok ?
make sure the cpu is seated right down in the socket........

have you tried 133 fsb @13.5 ...............then slowly put the fsb up 5 at a time 166 fsb @13.5 2241mhz..... i you get that put it up 1mhz at a time 167,168,169 ......

if thats stable why not try again only with 14 multi and go slowly through everything again :D :D

andy

edit i was that slow in typeing that you have posted more heheh

The KD7 should be able to do a little more with that chip, but not too much. What settings were you using for fsb, multiplier, core voltage, and pci divider at the last stable overclock? Also, if you can tell us the stepping code from your 2400+, we can have a better idea of how much the chip can do.

Make sure you are NOT using CPU fast decode or Enhance for Benchmark features.
