This looks pretty effective with a uv lamp, and cheap as hell too !
Yet another simple mod :D

That was posted here before, but, since I can't seem to locate it, thanks for the update.

FTR.. I bought pens to do this with, I just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I've been busy painting the dining room. :(

Once I do it, I'll post pics.

I picked up a few different kinds at Wal-Mart. They were on clearence over the spring. I'm not sure if they are still there or not.

If I recall, you can also get them at office max and office depot, probably staples as well. The important thing is to make sure they are true GEL ink pens. Regular ink will not work. And watch out, the Gel in those things don't dry well. They are non conductive, but they will smudge if you're not careful. The heat seems to cure the gel hard after a while... Just don't bump it for a week after..

If you are good, you can also use UV paint and a very fine brush and lots of time. If you use Paint, be sure to use a hair dryer to dry it with. I wouldn't use the card right away either. Let it dry a day (night) before using.

Good luck and have fun.

You need to have ultraviolet or UV lights. They're often called 'blacklights'.

You need a UV (Ultra Violet) light to make it work. For coloring start small and see what it looks like. You can always color more if you want. Some times, LESS IS MORE.
