What does this term mean?(burn-in) i have heard it mentioned a few times in these forums, but are new to ocing and would like to know the meaning. Thanks boys n' girls

Burn-in is to let ur CPU do some real hard work, like running a lot of games, encoding video, or use programs made to stress the CPU. When I first got my Duron 700MHz, I could only overclock it to 900MHz, but after some day's with some burn-in, I got to 978MHz. That's why we do Burn-in, it sometimes makes u able to overclock a little bit extra.
