To anyone who has not tried the socket modification, which involves wiring pin holes AH30, and AH32. I'm aware that NF-7s v2 users have had great success, so I chose to try it on my Epox 8RDA+. I'm not sure if this is unique just to me, but it caused my registry to corrupt. It did recognize it as a 333mhz cpu though. After doing the mod, I upped the fsb by 1 mhz. This posted, but windows then gave the corrupted registry error. It would not boot windows despite any changes I made (even going to default settings). I formatted, and after the 4th or 5th reboot the registry was corrupted again. I then removed the wire from the socket and formatted again. No troubles anymore. So, to 8rda+ owners at least, proceed with caution.
