Reading around the different OC sites, one gets the impression that all the current mainboards have a stumbling point or two. I am using an Abit KT7-Raid and despite it not being able to OC the FSB, it is otherwise satisfactory. Whether you need Raid capability or not depends upon whether you want to run a Raid array of HDs and whether your current or future HD is ATA100 or faster. The Raid option supports ATA100. With an eye on the future, definitely get a mainboard with the KT-133A chipset. I sure wish I had done so. Can't comment on 1G vs 1.1 vs 1.2 CPUs.
