Thermometer

So i bought this termometer to measure temp because i dont have them on my board. It has a sensor that i can put anywhere in computer? What is best area to put it? Above CPU? I have a heatsink with a fan about inch and a half wide.

definietly not ontop of the cpu, put it under the die with thermal tape.
