Can you guys reccomend me CRT monitor for gaming as I'm not sure which one to get, and is it time to get 21" CRT, or should I stay with 19". Give me some monitors that give best bang for money, I'm not restricted in price range so show me monitors that will give best bang for price.

I just ordered a Viewsonig P95f+b which is a 19inch super bright monitor that does 1600x1200 at 87hz!!. It was inexpensive and looked good from reviews and stuff. If you wait a week i will tell you how good it is :)

I have always liked the Samsung Syncmaster 955df for a good bang for the buck monitor. I have been pondering the same jump up to 21" for some time myself. Thankfully my bank balance has stopped me from that hard decision.

I like Samsung SyncMaster IFT monitors. Really flat screens, vibrant colors, and reliable. I looked into the SyncMaster 955df (as Deathknight pointed out,) for a dual setup with my 900IFT but found that it has inferior specs compared to the IFTs.

I like the IFT as well (I own the 900IFT as well), but they are still very expensive, after being discontinued for quite a while. Also some of them feature distortion at the top of the monitor that is impossible to correct. The Samsung 900NF (another discontinued model) is superior, as it uses a Diamondtron screen (compared to the IFT's Shadow Mask) and is less expensive.

I love LaCie monitors because of their awesome picture quality and that they are a navey blue color. I own an LaCie Electron22blue III with a 22" tube and a 20" viewable area. The newest one out is the Electron22blue IV that has a max res of 2048X1536 @ 86Hz. Mine only does that res. at 80Hz because it was last years model (2001 and 2002), but I don't use that res anyways (too high for me!). The IV costs $799.00 and the 19" IV costs $379.00. Not bad for state of the art CRTs. They make an incredible 20" LCD panel too for a wooping $1399.00. State of the art of course. And no, I don't work for them, just a big fan! Just check out these specs! http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?id=10037 and http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?id=10074
