I am switching from intel to amd just as i don't think my p3 450 @ 600/ my celeron II 700 @ 957 are doing it for me anymore.

I really want (never gonna happen) a 1.2ghz tbird and a kt7a-raid. The kt7a-raid is a must, i want high fsb speeds, before mhz. What chip would you recommend?

I was thinking about getting a Thunderbird 900, i saw it for 130. Would that be good for overclocking?

I think 150 would be the limit of money i can spend.

I want to hit somewhere around 1.2 with a fsb of 130+
I heard the 950 was good.

Thanx YOU GUYZ!!!

I have the Abit kt7A-raid and a t-bird 1000. With air I was able to o\c to 1144 stable. I have a KT7-Raid and a T-Bird 1000 an air it o\c at 1144 stable. My KT7A-raid is now water cooled and is doing 1233 and is stable. I am going to try and go higher as it burns in. for the few extra dollars I would go for the 1000. If i sell one of these computers I am going for the T-bird 1000-233. I have been very satisfied with both boards and 1000 chips. Hope you get a good one which ever you choose.

A 1.2 200 FSB. I have one running at 266 on an IWill board. The chipset on an IWill is newer than the Abit, just for more confusion...
