Hi, I have Abit KT7 raid motherbord and a T-bird CPU .
When I bought my PC I thought that I could overclock that CPU for at least 200 Mhz, now when I overclock I can't get higher then 1080Mhz any configuration (FSB + Multiplier) higher then this crashses my Pc when he wants to boot windows, I want to buy a new cooler, but if I can't get higher then 1080 Mhz I don't need a new cooler . At 1080 my CPU 's T° is 34°c idle 50°c load.

Whats your current cooling config?

Have you checked the cpu database for recommened overclocking settings on the homepage?

What setting have you tried?
