Samsung SyncMaster 181T 18" TFT

Been looking at possibly picking up this LCD to replace my 17" CRT that has begun to ghost images. Curious if anyone has had experience with this monitor. The specs on it can be found here (http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitor/LCDMonitor/Monitor_LCDMonitor_172T_sp.htm).

when i clicked on the link, it showed the product info for the 172T, but i searched up the specs for the 181T, which can be found here (http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitor/LCDMonitor/Monitor_LCDMonitor_181T_sp.htm) .

it has a <25ms response time, which is good, but may not be low enough if you want to eliminate ghosting...there are plenty of 17-in monitors with a 16ms response time (i don't think there are any 18-inch ones or larger with a 16ms response time)...you might want to try one of those

Yeah, included the wrong link.... Was curious about this one cause a place in town was liquidating them. But now I'm thinking I'm probably just gonna go with another CRT. I can pickup a good Samsung 17" for about $210 Cdn.

if they're selling them for pretty cheap, you may as well get the 181T

If your happy with a 17 inch crt ,than a 15 inch lcd would give about the same size viewable image and they can be had for just a few more bucks.i just ordered a benQ 767 17 inch that has the same size image as my samsung syncmaster 955df 19 inch!
