I'm using my backup card... so the overclockability sux ass quite a bit..

the card isn't overclocked to the limit yet. I'll push it(using my methods) if I really want it. Same for the FSB. This is just an easy run.

GeForce3 Ti200 + TbredXP1700@ 2.76ghz.

Stick a Radeon 9800 pro or Geforce FX 5900 ultra in there... i'd like to see the score from that setup.

nice score :)

Qwerty my man, do you believe in the performance of DC?

I am a DC junkie and i appreciate the performance of DCDDR.

There are few [H]ardcore AMD DC bashers over at memory forum section. Please contribute your response there. These idiots(two of them in that thread) don't know what's good. Tell them what system you're running and that you have DC enabled for best performance. They say DC really makes no gain in performance. What a turbocharged bullshi.t that is.

nice job getting that 1700+ to 2.7ghz
Must have to keep that thing ice cold

thanks..
not quite... im running it at 2,760mhz. All apps run-able including pifastV41 and superPi@ 2785mhz. Basic apps@ 2,794mhz. But I base my system on the mega stable, indestructable stability which is currently at 2,760mhz.

actually... it's colder than ice water, he.. he.. and stays cold.. but it gets a little colder and colder as I run it. My freezing power is too strong. yes, this is my permanent setup, not temp. ;)

Very nice [OC]This. Do you have any pics of the guts of that machine? Also, what memory are you running in there?

I wish I could afford a prommy

Not quite sure why he still doesn't put this in post #1 as Edit, but here's what he used to achieve this:

- TbredXP1700 JIUHB 0310 XPMW
- 2 x 256MB CorsairXMS 3500 (Winbond BH-5) @ 5-2-2-2.0 (upto 230mhz FSB DC)
- 223mhz FSB x 12.5 @ 1.97v vcore & 2.9v Vdimm
approx. 14C idle & upto 18C full load
- Abit NF7-s rev2
- D-tek tc-4 rev2 waterblock, dual pumps, two independent loops, deep freezer, liquid volue = 38 gallons, water temp = around -10C
- Gainward GeForce3 Ti200 + 80watt peltier & block + chilled water(same source from the freezer)
- Antec SmartPower 350watt feeding both my CPU and Video card + pelt all at the same time.
- open setup, no computer case

Is your motherboard the NF7-S rev. 2.0?

If it is a rev 2.0, have you tried increasing FSB to beyond 220 MHz, say to 230-240 MHz. It'll help 3Dmark 01 quite a bit.

How's the 3DMark 03 numebr which is less dependent on CPU and FSB

yes

yes, i did 230mhz FSB DC 5-2-2-2.0 on an XP2700 AIUCB(L12 mod for 133fsb) long way back... It can even do higher, but after i switched the CPU to xp1700, it don't get the access of those high FSBs unless I mod the bridges(for 166 or 200fsb). I am a lazy *******. Sure, my score will jump quite a bit by upping the FSB to 230~ 235+ FSBs DC. That is why I said in my earlier post I'll push it if i really want higher scores.. but nobody can take my challenge in this class right now so I'm just being lazy.. hehe.... no worries, if someone trys to beat me, then my butt will get movin' and make my move.. to take over again. I love this game.. hehehehe

i do not run '03. I do not like '03 and it is not for GF3/GF4 class. Best result comes with the ATI DX9 class cards as we know.

here's my old xp2700 AIUCB(with L12 mod) with Abit NF7 rev1.2(severe vdd mod) bench..

Probably you already aware of using wire trick on CPU to force FSB1 to Vss to get default FSB 166, or both FSB0 and FSB1 to Vss to get default FSB 200 MHz. I prefer wire trick on socket instead of physically altering bridges which are irreversible.

FSB_Sense mod to set Tbred B default FSB from 133 to 166, or to 200 (http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2004978#post2004978) (page 12)

It helps me to get FSB from 215 MHz to 230+ MHz on a NF7-S rev 2.0.

As close to 240 MHz FSB, I think my PC3500 C2 is becoming limiting, unless I do Vmem mod which is not easy due to component size on mb. Vdd mod is easy.

Probably same for your Corsair 3500 C2 too.

yes.. I used to do L12 mod via bridges and perform wire-drop-socket method for the multiplier mods..

For the L12 mods, I've noticed there is a better way, which is what you have mentioned lately. I appreciate your info. I've read your thread with wire mod info in it.. Very nice find.. :)

exactly..........

we appreciate the way these mobos come in overvolted in Vdimm. and yes.. these CorsairXMS 3500 sticks overclock very well don't they..

Vdd mod is easy.
yeah, takes me 3 minutes to mod it.

yes......... I very much think the same as you. :D
