I just updated the bios did a fresh clean install of windows xp reseated the heatsink with new thermal paste and installed a new stick of ram and for some reason it keeps freezing. I downloaded memtest to see if that was the problem, it ran for 3000 cycles with no errors so i exited memtest and open I.E. and it froze again. This motherboard is really making me angry haha. I even put a new heatsink on the northbridge. The chip is a 266fsb chip. I was thinking maybe if i cut the L1 bridges so it locks to 15x multiplier. The board has no multiplier/voltage changes. Only 133fsb/133 memory, 100fsb/133 memory, 100fsb/100 memory.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
