duron 800 trying for 1 gigahertz
if you plan on using the multiplier to oc then yes you need to conect the L1 bridges and it just so happens that i have a nice pic of what it look`s like when its properly done with a conductive ink pen ...dont use the "pencil trick" it unreliable
what exactly are you showing me? what do you do with the non-conductive pen to conect the north bridgeand where might i find one.
you can get away with a small overclock by just upping your FSB
say u have an 800mhz duron, like myself :) 8x110fsb will get you 880mhz
but if u want to push it to over 900 or 1ghz then u have to unlock it so that u can change the multiplier to something like 10x100 = 1ghz
u also may need to raise the votage going to the CPU to abtain stability and make it work well
the mouse pointer is pointed at the L1 bridges after they have been closed this will unlock the multiplier ........go to this site a do a search for (micro tip conductive ink pen)
