1.85volts...now what?

Just did the wire trick to get 1.85 volts out of my CPU, all went well, before @ 1.7volts i had 177x11.5 = 2050ish

when i try to do 185x11.5 it wont post, now im sitting @ 170x12 and 51c max load, gonna lap my slk-800 and lower them damn temps, case temps is 30-35 ish.

memory timings are relaxed @ 2.5,3,3,6 so i cant think of anything else that could be the problem :(

i can do 173x12 but thats it! not even 1 more fsb and it refuses to post, whats the deal? can do 177x11.5 - 2050 @ 1.7volts
i can do 173x12 - 2080 @ 1.85volts
but no more?

works well and easy to do if u wrap it around the CPU pins

RAM holding you back? Try upping the mult. Or try adding some more voltage to the RAM.

I have to do this but if I wanted I can get my RAM up to 195MHz. After that too much voltage for such little return.

imputting 2.7volts through it now tho

should i go for 2.8?

I have gone over 3volts before. I am not saying its safe but you can try it.

ok i added to 2.8 (max mobo will do) and im @ 175x12 - 2117


testing prime then raise it some more
