using socket 370 hsf for socket 478?

would one be able to use a socket 370 hsf on a socket 478?

i have a way to keep it from falling out (my case is a tower), but im wondering if im suffering overheating from it.

im getting ~ 40C idle on a 1.7 celeron

your temp is a bit high for idle but not dangerous, you can go up to 60 without trouble, i see no reason you can't use the hsf

yeah its seeming to run pretty well now... im re-installing windows xp and the updates (incl. sp1) and its still running, so i assume its doin pretty well.
