Well that's my question. T-bird 1000Mhz, 266Mhz or T-bird 1000, 200Mhz?
Which is best to overclock?
It will run with pc133 cas 2.

Thanx

I will have to disagree. I have 2 1000 T-birds,200Mhz and had to unlock both of them. Every thing I have read says the 266Mhz come unlocked.

Definetly the 266 is much more faster than the 200er.
Both of the must be unlocked!

For sure 266,It is faster straight out of the box.The main goal in most O/Ced systems is obtaining a higher front side bus.So start with the 266 fsb.

Fact is 1.2 and up come unlocked and are very overclockable (hence a new word for the Websters). 266FSB is more desireable for the sheer fact that you are using PC-133 RAM, why use slower FSB on chipset. That's like buying a Porsche 911 twin turbo and buying economy grade gas. For what, a few bucks, have a few less beers!!
