View Full Version : 200 or 266 mhz ???
Hi !
I have a 1.2g amd cpu and i am not sure of it's fsb !! How can i check it ??
I have WCPUID installed and on the system bus it says 200 ddr !! does this mean that it's a 200mhz 1.2 amd ??
Thanks

the only sure fire way of telling (besides looking at the serial #) is to reset the cmos jumper and have the computer boot your system. if wcpuid shows your multiplier at 12 then you have a 200 bus 1.2, if it shows the multiplier at 9 then you have a 266 bus 1.2 (or a 100 bus 900mhz cpu :)). If you haven't played around with your bios by changing the multiplier and you built the system yourself from scratch then you won't have to reset the cmos (unless you are subcontiously trying to rip yourself off!) heheheh
What mother board do yo u have ???
Soltek SL-75KV2-X (www.soltek.com.tw)
