I am getting some cash, not a lot of cash, but enough to have fun with. I want to get a 1ghz amd chip but I don't know any good motherboards that support AMD. Does Asus make any good boards for Amd? Is there any Intel chipset mohterboards available. What would be the best set up to get AMD style?

i have an abit kt7a board and this got my duron700@950
but ive herd the i will boards are very good money

I prefer the Abit KT7A-raid. Like the softmenue3 set the multiplyer and FSB from bios.As far as chips go with T-bird. Abit KT7A-Raid T-bird 1000@1233 watercooled. Abit KT7-Raid T-bird 1000@1144 aircooled.
