Which mobo would be better for overclocking and system performance, the with or without the raid...
any ideas out there..

I got a friend that has built several systems in the last couple of months...different mobos, but staying with the KT133a chipset. He has had very good reports with those. Recently tho, he decided to go with the KA266-R, and hasn't had much success at all. Much less than the KK266 he also has. He seems to think the DDR mobos and DDR ram needs more maturing, before they are going to do what is expected of them, with the new faster ram. At this time, a good grade of special hand picked SDRAM will hit 166 mhz at cas2...so, unless you are going for the world record, why bother with a board/ram that isn't performing so good yet...unless you are so well heeled, you got money to burn...and if thats the case, I'd like to get on your left over list :D
