Would you use a little drop of superglue on the corners of the northbridge(NF&-S) to affix a PII CPU cooler? I cant wait for thermal tape....it should be ok right?

No that's not ok. Thermal Paste needs to be under compression to work & that method does not offer enough pressure to make good heat transfer.

Depends if you press the HS down while the super glue dries...if you compress the HS down then it should make good contact with the NB and thermal paste...I know this to be true since I have done it on my NB's...

Now if you just put the super glue on the corners without compressing it to the NB...then what sonny says is true...
