My board will only let me run @ 1.85V max

I know that most guys need 2.12V to get their Durons running real fast... Do the TBirds like the Voltage too?

I would not go that high, but lets say:

Max OC @ 1.85V would be 1050Mhz... how much faster do you think it would go with 2.00V? I would really like to hit 1100Mhz with my Tbird 900.

I am only going to be running a FOP32-1, so I think I best stay at the 1.85v limit. I do plan on putting a 39cfm 80mm fan on it soon after I get it, would this make 1.85+ "safe"?

Please let me know, stories of frying Tbirds @ 2.00+ volts is what I'm looking for... it'll scare me into 1.85V max :-)

Ah, are you looking for a warranty/guarantee? You won't find it anytime soon.

Oh, come on.....God hates a coward.

Would I have to start now, to have a 20lb turkey ready for thanksgiving at 1.85volts??

You won't fry it if you have adequate cooling. I had my 650 Tbird up to 10x100 night before last. It took 2.35V on the core to do that. That's a lot of watts. This is not something you do with an FOP-32, not even with a 38. It idled reasonable enough, but when I fired up Prime95 Torture, the temp skyrocketed and it was all my MC-462A could do to hold it at 40C with an air temp of 17C. My 400W PSU was working its butt off also. It was stable, but I did not leave it there. Just a little too close to the edge for my tastes.

Hoot, 40C is too close to the edge for you? In that case, Im way over the edge!
