A Northbridge waterblock would naturally be the best option.

Ed reported a bit back that some people were having fan issues and he simply replaced the fan.

Replacing the fan is a decent option due to the unique hold down mechanism

Many people have modified AMD or Intel CPU heasinks to go on the Northbridge with a good degree of success.

My opinion if h20 is out of the question would be these two options:

Option 1: Simply replace the fan with a 40 or 50mm fan
Option 2: Find a cheap copper I U heatsink, cut it down to size and mount it, but this will take some doing to moddify the clipping mechanism or making a new hold down.

Hope you find a solution that works for you.
