Anyone else remember this?
http://www6.tomshardware.com/cpu/20020909/index.html

"Pentium 4 with 3600 MHz: the FSB clock will remain at 133 MHz, the multiplier is 27. "

just for all of those that don't believe that site blatently lies to readers.

So? I can set my ES chip to a 27x multiplier and run it at 3600Mhz (although it wouldn't be very stable given my apartment's current temperature).

There were plenty of things wrong with that article on Tom's, but I don't see any issues with that statement.

the 3200P4 has a fsb clock of 200 MHZ. its fairly obvious that there never will be and was going to be a 533fsb 3600P4. Intel saying the 3200 is the last p4 makes him look very bad right about now. I wonder why he didnt think they would go 800bus by then?

I would post it on their forums but.......they didn't like my last debate.

"We encountered a problem. The reason reported was:

so lets bring up an old topic and throw it in their face because they guessed wrong. sounds like a good idea to me.

you didn't follow the link did you Flame. Toms hardware said they HAD a 3600P4 from intel. That is, the explained that they had a chip that would have a chip which would soon be released. they used this article to prove to everyone that they would obtain hardware from intel that no one else could. Not an old topic, quite the contrary. it just took awhile to be sure it was a lie.

who really cares about these sites anyways? none of them are 100% accurate. they all lie or skew results according to how they are paid.

take an average of all of them and you get a decent review.

not results here. its making up a piece of hardware that never existed to get attention.

Shows how much you knew about Van's site...he was one of the last few sites that didn't care what company said what...he reported as it was...not how much they paid him...and the reason why Tom did that was...Van posted and proved how Tom was BSing and how he cheated on his reviews to make Intel come out on top everytime...Van's Hardware was truely a honest review site...not a pay review site...

Sorry zabomb4163 for hijacking the thread...Just can't stand Tom's for doing that...especially when it got back to his kids...which had nothing to do with any of it ...done with the hijacking...

I would agree that what tom did in that instance is pretty messed up glock. I also have no faith in Toms Hardware. All of his reviews are incredibly bias, and have no credibility. I hope they go down the tubes, it is ridiculous.
