I have just bought a K7M board and am trying to up my athlon slot a 650 a bit. I have raised the core voltage up to 1.8 and can not get past 104 FSB without problems. I get freezes at 104 and above that it will not boot. I only have a 200W PSU and was wondering if that is my problem. Any help would be appreciated.

If the board is using the KT133, or KX133 chipset, you probably won't see much higher than 110, You should also look into at least a 300W power supply. I have heard that if you lap the "meanie greenie" heatsink on the chipset and use a little thermal paste that it will help out a little. Good luck. :-)

It could be heat, RAM, or PSU, also could be a limit of the chip.

Sorry, I've Only Got 4 Suggjestions...

1. Lower The Muliplyer and Increase The FSB

2. Increase The Muliplyer and Lower The FSB

3. Increase The VCore

4. Get New PSU
(Might Have To Get A New PSU+Case)

Got No More Tricks Up These Slevees...
Good Luck Hope I've Helped!
