I'm confused about a few tests I have run with Sandra Sisoft. I just hooked up my brand new 1.2-266 fsb chip and the Bios showed it as that. The multiplier was 9x133. When I looked in the Sandra Mod "mainboard info", it says the PCI,AGP is operating at 44mhhz,77mhz. Giving me all kinds of warnings!! I raised the multiplier to 12.5X100 and checked the test again. Said I was running PCI,AGP 33,66. No warnings. Am I doing something wrong here? I thought going to 9X133 is the default for the 1.2 ghz 266fsb chip. This shouldn't change the AGP,PCI when it is set to that...should it? is there something in the settings I am missing or is this a bogus chip?

Also, a quick note. I just ran my hard Drive benchmark in Sandra. I have a 30 gig Ultra ATA100 Western Digital @ 7200rpms. it shows it at 2160. What is going on?

I just looked in the Set up and there is no 133/31 that I can see. There is a 133/33 and a 100/33. I have been settin it to 133/33 and it shows the PCI @ 44mhz

I have the free downloadable version of Sandra 2001. Not the Professional version. On the raid issue, I am confused as to how to hook up the IDE devices? Does the IDE 1 support ATA 100 transfer? Or is it the iDE 3 and IDE 4 which need this device?

My bad 133/33 not to far off,LOL{and not bad from memory, give me a break I am an old man}

Does the system run stable ????

I have the KT7A And Sandra gives me the warrnings as well.Screw them, read all that it says I believe it makes reference to the fact that Sandra can be incorrect.Hit F-1 and read Sandras explanation to code 2528.It indicates it can be inacurate.

As i mentioned in my earlier post, i am selecting 133/33 with '9' selected as the multiplier. When I check the status of the board in Sandra, it shows that I am running a 1.2 GHz processor with 266fsb, however, the PCI bus is 44mhz and the aGP is running at 88mhz. Is this right?

If you overclock your system, Sandra gives warnings because this is considered "Hazardous". It is just saying that your PC is not meant to run this fast but you choose to do it anyway :-)
