After quite some reading I have come to decision that I will try to vmod my card ( Just have to wait for my dad to come home )
I have Connect3D 9500->9700 with 3.6 Hynix Mem ( MuFu BIOS )
Right now with AMD cooler and home made heatsinks I'm @
357/330 ( max stable )
I would like to shoot for anything higher. Now all of guys doing voltmods mention different Voltages on booth Vmem and Vgpu and I understand that they work diff. for diff people. That's why I need one of those adjustable resistors right ?

Second question is: Does it make any difference how do you point your resistors on pins L----000----R or R----000----L ( If you know what I mean )

Any of you guys did this mod to 3.6 Hynix Mem ? how high could you go ?
Other thing is that I don't have any multimeter and would have to buy one in order to measure Voltages. Is that really necessary ?

One other thing is that I saw many people do 4 Voltmods instead for only 2. Are those 2 necesary as well or could I live without them ? Thanks in advance!

There will be more Qs to come. Have to go to work now :(

Personally, I would start out with just the VPU VM, and see what that will do for you. I had 3.6 Hynix on my 8500 and after a VM it would do 324 max(4.01v!).

The VR's you need can be found here (http://www.allelectronics.com), and are much cheaper than Radio SHack.

I would definately only do a VM after you have a very good skills soldering(or use grabbers), and have a voltage meter. You need the voltage meter to set the ohm's resistance on a VR anyway's, and then you need it to check the resulting output voltage on the card.

I have killed two card's doing a VM so be very carefull. They will also lessen the lifespan of your card.
