I just ordered a 3-pack of those tapes you can use to unlock AMD CPUs without marking them up, and they are a complete waste of money. I tried two out of three on my new 850 Duron, and all they would do is prevent a boot. After removal, the Duron booted fine. After several attempts at repositioning with the same result, I said the hell with it. I am wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.
