hi all
i have read that the 9900 is in production now !!!
it wil be in retail stores in april and officialy launched at CeBIT in Hannover on March 12 2004 ...
is this true anyone else got more on it yet
andy:D :D
uhh.... where did you read all that? the r360 aka 9900pro is slated to be released in late august early september of this year.
The 9900pro is just another refined r300 like the r350 is. Higher clock speeds and maybe some extra or enhanced features. Its not a new generation.
The r420 however is a next generation card, but that will probably be out late fall early winter. Maybe around christmas... I dunno exactly.
Where'd you here about this stuff in spring???

Um... did you even read that? It's from Feb. of this year, and is talking about the 9800/ R350 core. However, we have learned that ATI's next generation R350 chip which will compete with the Geforce FX is now in mass production, and will definitely be in retail stores in April. It will be officially announced at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany on March 12, 2003.
