I think I fu ck ed it up and it's burnt on the tip thus detecting all wrong can I just rip it off or do I need it I think it may be the problem making my high/low alarm go off, I bet I can't RMA it if I take if though hmmmmmm anyone?

Ok, first thing:

trying to beat the swear flter is NOT a good thing- please edit your post and remove the profanity.

Second- the on-die temp sensor is inside the core of the cpu: if your had burned that you would not have a cpu;)

The in-socket thermistor is the one that is inside the zif socket, and if you did something that damaged it......then an rma doesn't seem right somehow!
But you should be able to replace it I think....
