my comp keeps locking up when running 3dmark 2003 during the sound test portion. my friend's 3dmark doesnt even run the sound test but i cant seem to disable mine from running. im using the onboard sound, and my comp IS overclocked. running an xp 1700+ at 2 ghz - 200fsb and 10x multiplier. the graphics and cpu tests run fine... anyone else having similar problems or know any solutions?

3dmark2003 w/ k7n2 delta locking up during sound test

I dont know if it's JUST the sound that's killing the test. Are you using onboard, or a card?
If it's onboard, the sound stressing the CPU might be just enough to push it over the edge and lock it up. Try backing your FSB down like 5-10 and try again.
