I wanna know if my mobo will support a new AMD Athlon XP 2200 (1.8GhZ). Here is the mobo info and the processors it suports:

Socket A for AMD® Athlon™/ Athlon™ XP / Duron™ Processor.
AMD Athlon XP (Palomino, Socket A) 1800+
AMD Athlon (Thunderbird, Socket A) 1.4GHz
AMD Duron (Socket A) 950MHz

Some people tell me it won't support and others tell me it will.

I'm guessing it will since it says: Athlon XP 1800 *+*

What do you guys think?

It should support it, but it will be great to try with friends cpu if u can (just in case)

yea it should work, also make shure to have the latest bios
