Ok, so I finally went out to update the old gaming battle ax and ended up with a AMD T-bird 900 Slot A and a Asus K7V motherboard. I have had one problem after another, including many "Tech Support Professionals" saying the K7V doesn't support T-birds. This was found to be wrong, from many sites, but I am left with a proc that will not boot to 2000. The system will go to the BIOS, but it will show a blank screen when it tries to load to Windows! Thanks in advance for any and all help as I have a fresh copy of Alice and Oni waiting to show me my money was well spent! Oh, in the BIOS it shows the Frequency of the CPU is set at 100Mhz, is this right? For all of you that are wondering, the 2k will be scratched for ME as soon as I can get it too boot!!!!
