I would also agree with that. I like just about any product by thermalright. Get anything from them, and you would be disapointed.

SLK-800, you can put just about any on this and it's going to be a decent cooling solution, are you wanting to overclock a lot? If so a SLK-800/900 with a Vantec Tornado or Thermaltake Smart Fan II is going to be good, but exceedingly loud, the tornodo more so.

If you are wanting something quiet then maybe put a Panaflo 80mm fan on the heatsink and that is going to be a fairly effective very very quiet solution.

chances are im not going to overclock very soon, since i have a combination of very hot weather and heat buildup under my desk(where the comp is).

are there any combo hsf that are good?

i was thinking about this one,

or

also are there any better places to look for a hsf? i.e cheaper place.

It depends on your budget I guess. The SK-7 is half the price of the SLK900 which is the best heatsink right now judging by this chart:

http://www.overclockers.com/articles373/

The 900 is a bit more flexible since you can fit a 92mm fan on there by default and it uses bolts and nuts to secure itself on the motherboard so you don't have to worry about slipping and ramming your screw driver into the motherboard.

It's personal preference I guess.

Yeah,

or

$14.99 Thermalright SK-7

Don't forget a fan, nothing too loud, but pretty much any 80x25mm will do with SK-7.

Look for directions on how to apply thermal paste (it comes with sk-7) but this is a good one:

I haven't seen a better deal than those two heatsinks anywhere, if someone has, please post.
