I noticed for the KT7A the FSB is done via bios. I had an old P3 450 w/ Asus mobo and tried to change the FSB from 100 to 133 via jumpers and when I booted up the comp there was just a black screen I could not even get into the bios. Luckly I just bumped it down to 124 FSB via jumpers.

How would you do this with a KT7A? I take it what happened above was that the mobo didn't "post" ? Does the KT7A have a reset button it or something to do in these situation when it won't "post" ?

power down the Comp and hold down the INSERT Key when you power on and it resets the FSB AND Multi settings to default. With AMD It's best to Unlock CPU then lower Multi then up FSB. Then start Overclocking. Hope this helps.

yep it helps alot

I was slightly hesitant on the KT7A board because of all bios method.

Also, so I was right on the "posting" stuff? Post is just plain boot?

POST=Power On Self Test. The computer does this every time you boot :)
