i got a green 750 tbird on my a raid board have been trying to overclock as i learn what im doing.have had success in softmenue just adding 10 or even 15 to the 100/33 setup but nothing beyond that have also uped fsb and clock together in small increments but nowhere above 110\? well i got another case fan and some permatex defroster repair and connected the l1's , so i tried my first 133/33(6.5x 133=864) booted right up i watched the temp for some time while my son played df land warrior it rose to abuot 49 c,i was concerned that that might be to hot so i thought id lower the multiplier to 6x133.no boot! isn't it strange that it would boot higher but not lower?the t bird is marked ao750APT3B.wtf? has anyone elses board or cpu acted strangely? is it possible to unlock a cpu partially? the l1's appear to be done well under a magnifier,i also noticed the little dots around the processor look like copper so why is it green? anyone? any ideas?

sorry i was remiss innot stating my specs:kt7a raid 750 tbird wd 7200 ata 100 hd,52x cdrom, generic floppy, nvida g-force mx,and soundblaster pci128.i also noticed that the fan on the chipset runs even when system is turned off sometimes.have had runing at normal speed 7.5x 100 for a couple of weeks with no probs.

I believe that it is possible to partially unlock the cpu, if you covered certain bridges better than others. I would go over the L1's again and see what happens.
Also those temps are a little high, but not too dangerous - what voltage are you at?
