Been trying to hit a gig, A7v with duron 600 @ 1.85v current @ 950. Temps @ 38c under load. Will post @ 1gig but blu screen into windows. Is it the luck of the draw on the processor? Won't complain, 950 on a 600 is not to bad but would love to see 1gig and be stable. Any ideas?
thanx,
blujay

Try 1.9V
Your temps look like your HSF is doing its job properly.

U can't go higher than 1.85V (read in the bios) wtih the A7V, unless u do the volt mod.

I have a couple of DURON 600's, the best will post at 1100MHz on an A7V, not real stable, good at 1050, the worst is "only " good for 978MHz.

I'm playing around with an A7V133, now I can get over 133MHz FSB, right now running it at 122 * 9

Luck of the draw, I'd say.

Your temps look good so I think you are going to have to do the voltage mod on the A7V to reach a gig, just 1 more notch up might be all it takes.

Thanks everyone, appreciate everyone who responded. I think I'll stay with 950 don't really want to do the volt mod. But in time maybe the solution will come forth. Thanks again everyone!
