I'm having some serious problems with the core voltage of my tbird. I can OC it to 1143 @ 1.85v, but after a while it just crashes. After booting, when I check the softmenu3 settings, it shows a maximum core voltage of 1.725v. Is it my crappy 230W PSU?
I'm running it now at 980 (7x140), which works with that voltage. My mobo is abit KT7A-Raid, if it has any meaning.
Please HELP. Thanks a lot in advance.
Please tell me your SoftMenu 3 and REAL Voltage under System Health.
They can vary - it depends not on the PBU, but on the electrical lines and your local electrical station.

When I set it to 1.850 volts in softmenu 3, it says 1.91/1.92 in the health screen. Don't remember what it says exactly when at 1.725 volts, but if I recall correctly, it's 1.8x volts.
Another thing that came to mind, is the unlocking. It seems I have done it well enough, but it shouldn't affect the core voltage, now should it?
I just can't wait to get that 330W Enermax back...
Thanks in advance.

It could be your power supply. New AMD chips demand at LEAST a 300w power supply. See if it still happens when you receive your Enermax.
I'd get a better power suply before anything. At LEAST a 300 watt unit if not more. Those new athlon's and MoBo's require alot of current these days.

Thanks. That's what I tought. Going to order one today, seems like I can't trust the shop to get them any time soon.

Hey Asmodean,
Did you get your name from the Wheel of Time? Just curious.

No. I was using that nick before I read the currently released 9 books. Can't wait for the 10th.
