Might be a dumb question. How do I enable Dual channel?

You sure they are in the right slots? One in the solo slot and one in either of the pairs, I believe.
 
put it in the blue slots .....that will enable dual channel ....

if it does not say it in the bios you need to download the latest one
 
i think you can't rely on color?..because i have rev 2 and it's all black slots..check asus's site too they display all black slots. However, like it says in the manual (yes the manual is actually more useful than a furniture leveler) placing modules in slots 1 and 3 or slots 2 and 3 enables dual channel mode

all black that a first ive heard off ohh well !

put the sticks in 1-2.....from the power cable 1 -2 3 being closest to the cpu

you will have to update the bios if it does not show :D

Put them into 1 and 3 or 2 and 3, NOT 1 and 2!!!

It shows up during the POST assuming you have a newer BIOS release (1004 or 1005 for REV 2 boards).
