Do u have to remove the motherboard to put on the slk900 on a p4?

if you want to be able to use a 92 mm fan, yes. Otherwise you could use the brackets, but i wouldn't use the brackets ever. For the more secure fit you will need to take it out.

k Cheers i just dont think that my motherboard is gonna have the holes on the right places hehehehe :) wots the temp diff between the 800 and the 900?
 
ok ummm is there not an 900a? or is it just 900u?? :)

also can i put a 92mm fan on a 900a (if theres such a thing) and on the 800a?
 
btw when installing slk with screws be sure to ignore the pic in guide since its wrong (u actually need to put HS before you put on 462->478 bracket --- took me several attempts to find that out).

yes there is a 900A but ONLY FOR AMD ;)Linky
