View Full Version : URGENT!!! NEED INFO FOR "AXIA" PURCHASE!!!

I have found a 1gig AXIA chip and want to buy it just have a few questions. #1 how do i tell if it is 200 FSB or 266 FSB? should I not get the 1 gig and keep hunting for a 1.33 or 1.1? I heard theses AXIA cpu's O/C great, up to 1350+!!! Guy has two but says there going fast. What to do?? Need response within the hour!!! Please!!!!

go to bios and set fsb 100, that's all.
before installin new CPU , set FSB to 100 on your old one.
to prevent fails

I know that! I need to know how to tell by the code on the cpu if possiable if it is a 200 FSB or 266 FSB. Thanks anyway!

at the end of the first code it will end in a b for 200fsb and a c for 266fsb.

Thanks I'll take a look. I already bought the chip and have it @ 1340mhz with 107x12.5 at 1.85v(1.94 MBM). And it seems to be doing great. Thanks again
