Hi theres a voltage setting for ddr ram. what does it do.. if i up it what can i expect?

does this mean i can rup at higher mhz?
or i can run at lower CAS timing?

I have the a7n8x deluxe..

thanks.

Ps. was able to boot at 210mhz.. at default.. but hoping i can lower my CAS timing with this voltage increase.

Raising your vdimm will allow your memory to function at higher FSB speeds as well as at tighter timings IF that headroom is inherently available in the stick of RAM. Most RAM is safe to run up to 2.8v
