I'm using the 1006 BIOS. I noticed this BIOS update included the clock multiplier option (I can't remember if one of the previous ones did). Anyway, I just want to know a stable overclock speed someone has gotten just using the BIOS settings. I'm currently at 791 MHz (7.0x113). When I've tried to go higher in the past, the system became unstable, and I had a hell of time getting it back to normal. I'm an amateur overclocker by the way if it's not already obvious! I haven't had the guts to try the heavy duty overclocking.

Peace!

my old a7v did 826 (7*118 ), but it all depends on the quality of your clock generator(FSB)

Wega!

Are u changing the FSB in the Bios? If yes, try the the dipswitches get a lot higher FSB speeds when I use the dipswitches.
