Trying to create a dual boot between 98 and xp.

N/p except, win 98se doesn't seem to support the usb 2.0 controler. I can't find drivers anywhere.

Been to intell and downloaded the latest chipset drivers ect.

Does someone know of a way to get usb 2.0 running on win98se?

Here's the download from Asus' site for the 2.0 usb drivers.

LINK
OrangeWare/Intel USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller driver V1.0.3 for Win 98 and win ME.

Glad it worked out for ya. I thought it was for your Asus board though :D

If you really wanted to, you could download the official drivers from Compaq's site.

That was my first attack plan. But I couldn't find anything that would do the trick. I even called compaq to ask them if they had a softpaq for the problem. The replied that win98 doesn't support 2.0 usb functions.

Microsoft web site seemed to indicate the same thing.

Strange.
