I had my computer running fine, so i decided to up the FSB only to 5.5x110 and it doenst come up on the monitor now! Nothing! No internet, no nothing. It wont even post, it just sits there with a yellow light on the monitor. Its a 750 t-bird running at only 800. I actually underclocked it. I had my voltage at 1.85 and 3.5. I dont know what to do. The processor not hot because the computer is not doing anything.

this happened to me once. just put it into dip control and set it to defalt clock, boot, then turn it off and put it back into jumper free mode and it should be reset(this is much esayer that trying to short those stupid solder pionts near the battery
I also have the KT7A motherboard and I also got the same problem as you a couple of times when I overclock too much. What I do is setting the CPU to the stock speed (correct CPU speed) and then power down the system. Remove also the power cord from the system. Wait about 4-5 minutes and then connect the power cord back to the system. Power up and the system should be fine. If it still not working, then you have to follow the instruction to reset the CMOS using jumper. Good Luck.
I believe you may also be able to rectify the situation by holding the Insert key when you turn the PC on. I am not positive this will work, but give it a try. It should clear the Multiplier and FSB settings.
I've done a lot of recovering from a jump too far in the past 24 hours. If you're not too far out of bounds, hold the insert key down and press the reset button. If that does not work, shut her down and discharge the cmos. A real P.I.T.A. reloading all your settings. Still massaging the newly acquired (yesterday) KT7A with my poorly thought out 650 T-bird using no-name PC133 (7.5ns). New stick of Corsair PC150 CL2 on the way. Will the spending ever end? ;-)
