hello all...been reading the boards for a while but never signed in. I've learned a lot from reading the posts here, and am in the process of building my own computer for the first time. went with a 1g t-bird with a kk266 mb....just wanted to see if anyone can verify the chip i have is a 266mhz FSB thunderbird. the info is:

A1000AMT3C
AXIA 0109BPAW
T6073350053
C 1999 AMD

this sound like a good chip? thanks for the help!

Ed has been doing some research and so far all the data is indicating that the axia chips have a higher potential for overclocking. So yes it should be a good chip.

THe last letter is a C this means 266 fsb.If it were a B it would be a 200 fsb chip
