I'm thinking about picking up a T-bird 1.33 today, but my current mobo is the Abit KT7. I want to wait and see how the Asus A7V266 does when it comes out before I jump on the DDR wagon. So, Will I have to Underclock this cpu for now? I imagine so, but was wondering if anybody else has something like this going on. TIA

Nope, just unlock it and run it at 1.2GHz(100x12)

Well, it should be unlocked already, and since it's supposed to be 1.33 then it will be underclocked a little. At least I don't think theres a 13x or up in bios, I'll have to go boot the wife off of her Tropical Fish Forum and check ;) . In my house it's "He who awakes first gets the fast pc" LOL
set the multiplier at 12.5 and run the fsb at 105 or 107. I am pretty sure the KT133 can get those fsb's with no prob and you will be really close to 1333, may be around 1300 or so. Hope that helps a little

O.K. heres the scoop. oc'd to 1.4Ghz using 12.5x112fsb, 1.85v and replacing the fan on a Tai Sol 742 with the 7K unit from a Global Win FOP-38. So far, so good!

sounds like using the 12x multiplier and upping the FSB slightly will do the trick, but the chip certainly ain't designed for plain jane KT133. Would be like running a K6-2 in a system that only supported Intel spec 66 MHz FSB chips. I wouldn't stick with this setup for too long- I think you might be sacrificing performance that you paid for.
