anyone ever experienced problems with the on board 3Com nic thus far? Disconnecting? slow transfers so on and so forth.

if so is there a fix for this. i have already installed the lastest drivers from asus.

you sure its problems with the nic?? it could be your isp. If you're so sure that its teh nic then run your connection off the nvidia nic and see if everything goes well. if it gives the same problem then its prob your isp

For me the 3Com NIC works better for me than the Nvidia one.

I haven't tried the nVidia nic, but the 3com + my router + my cable modem = same performance as my old pci nic directly hooked into my cable modem.
