1.2 266@ 1.4

has anyone been able to oc a 1.2 266 tbird to 1.4 with a FOP 38 and still get good temp reading during gaming

this is on a KA-266-r mb with 128 pc2100 ram

I have 4 other fans running and round cables

full tower

i got mine runnin at 1.4 with a taisol 80x 60 w a 42 cfm 80mm fan at 1.88 volts in via hardware monitor and my temps don't go up over 115 F while gaming (room temp 75+/-). While in windows my temps are usually around 104 F. My case has very good ventilation (3 added case fans and well placed wires). Room temp has alot to do with your temps :)

I cant find the multi settings in the bios but I know Ka-266-r have thim

does anyone know where they are?

Click on the "smart settings" and scroll to "user define" and click where it says default under multiplier settings.

with my Alpha pal 6035 i reached 1500mhz with my WC+TEC156W i reached 1.6ghz i m sure u can do more than 1400mhz
mine is a AXIA

grr I dont feel like takeing my hs off to look at what model of cpu I have=[

all I know its a 1.2 266

Ive tried moveing the fsb up and it wont go up any further thin 133

do I have to increase the volts?

i go to Iwill smart settings and the "user define" isnt there
all it says is
Spread Spectrum (disabled)
CPU/DDR clock (by jumper)
CPU vcore setting (auto)
Bios-Rom flash protect (non-flash)

and nothing else
the cpu I believe comes unlocked at 1.2 so that cant be it.......
what do you think it is?

just updated my bios and got a few more features but I still cant find the multiplier settings

I would like to know where i can Purchase the WC+TEC156W fan so i can get my 1.2 266 @1.6 or 1.5 and keep it real kool cause iam currently having bad heating problems where my processor at 1.2 not OCed is 141f and 61c ty .

Not to distract from the original post, but your temps are high. You can get them a lot better with a good air cooled heatsink and fan combination. What are you using now? Is your case well ventilated?

yea it is i got 2 chasis fans case is well ventelated i also have a CPU Cool Master fan on my AMD 1.2 266bus I cant get it cooled down its really hot 141f 61c. The Heat sink is well put on the CPU as well,the guy where i bought it from did it.
